I’m based in New York’s Hudson Valley, where I co-manage a 200-acre family farm.

My passion for food systems change stems from my masters’ research in the wild world of urban food foraging, plus a series of muddy farm apprenticeships over the last decade.

After three years directing a highly successful climate change education program at The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk, I followed my heart back to Upstate New York to start building a life on the land and supporting food and climate nonprofits across the Northeast.

I’ve secured critical funding for organizations engaged in creating resilient grocery supply chains for underserved communities, and groups working to secure permanent land access for farmers of color. I’m especially invested in food in education, from schoolyard gardens to radical cafeteria redesign.

I help projects at all stages and scales move forward by:

  • researching new and exciting funding opportunities

  • outlining and writing grant proposals (budgets too!)

  • creating master fundraising timelines for new ventures

  • synthesizing past documentation for new audiences

  • putting a final editor’s polish on out-the-door materials
